This is one of the best designed kettles I've seen with a decent sized spout for filling and pouring, but it's let down badly by one design "feature" which was eventually confirmed by Bosch UK after lots of fobbing off (they've no idea whether it will be fixed).
The lid does not fit tightly with the kettle body with the end result that condensation accumulates on the underside of the lid and then when pouring the kettle, it pools and runs around the edge of the lid and then drips down onto worktop etc.
If you can live with this then fine, otherwise go elsewhere.
Frankly with Bosch's reputation for design I was disappointed, but rather more so by the inability of their service dept to do anything about it :-(;

We first used this kettle on a recent visit to our apartment in Portugal. We thought it first class and searched shops in the area for one but without luck. Ordered it from Amazon on our return to the UK with next day delivery. Think it's a good buy;

The kettle seems to be really well made, looks modern, and works quickly - it boils in no time - just under 90 seconds, for a couple mugs worth of hot water. It also features a cool-looking light around the base for the kettle. Surely one of the best kettles around for the price.;
